My life journey has been filled with epic highs and lows, personally and professionally, that molded me and made me into who and what I am. My life is the total of every decision I have made. Each decision and outcome came with risks and positive and negative outcomes. Often, as it is said, we learn more through our failures. The failures brought change and learning experiences that gave me insight into making future decisions and continuing throughout my life.
I have a broad corporate background, having worked for Fortune 500 and 100 companies and privately owned small businesses. My experience has spanned various industries, including travel and airlines, law firms, communications, internet companies, and construction and heavy equipment rental. I am a graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville. Throughout my life, I developed a dedicated and strong, well-grounded positive attitude and work ethic, which opened many different doors and different experiences, opportunities, and outcomes,
The desire to become a Life Coach was born during and after my twelve years of discerning the priesthood and religious orders. A deep, intrinsic desire to help others is at the core of this decision. Intense ongoing self-reflection, personal-psychological evaluations, spiritual direction, and human formation were a part of the foundation of my priestly discernment before, during, and post-seminary. Sometime before entering seminary, I lived a hermitical life entirely off the grid, alone with God in prayer, meditation, contemplation, and reflection for four years. While in seminary, I studied philosophy and theology while continuing psychological examination and profile, human formation, and spiritual direction. While in seminary, I served my pastoral year at a local parish and assisted the pastor, including twice-weekly sick calls to hospitals, personal care, and nursing homes. During my pastoral year in deep reflection, I ultimately discerned out of seminary and, with a deep sense of peace, understood that I was not called to the priesthood and/or religious life. After leaving the seminary, the next chapter in my life began in a new direction, with a very different, much deeper understanding of human nature and deep self-awareness of who and what I am as a human being and a man. This opened doors and opportunities I had never considered in my life prior.
